There are many different ways to help support fundraising efforts for the PTO and Thomson Elementary. | Shop at the Box Tops Marketplace | Register for free on Box Tops for Education Marketplace to support Thomson Elementary and if you shop online at a variety of web sites (including Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, KB Toys and many more) and the school receives a nice benefit for any purchases you make. You need to click on store links through the Marketplace site for Thomson to receive the benefit. This costs nothing additional to you as the shopper and results in great fundraising for the school... up go 10% of your purchases amount. | | Clip out Box Tops for Education labels from packages. | Box Tops are located on Betty Crocker products, General Mills cereals, Pillsbury products, and Green Giant foods, among many others. Return the labels to the collection areas at the school and Thomson receives $0.10 for each label. They really add up! | | Register at Box Tops for Education | Between now and 10/31/07 register at Box Tops For Eduction and the school automatically receives 10 box tops ($1.00) for each new registrant. Ask your family and friends to also sign up if they are willing. Currently Box Tops is also currently running a raffle called, School House Scramble, until 9/29/06. They are giving away 250,000 Box Tops to 25 schools, each winner receiving 10,000 Box Tops. Each new registrant is an entry into this raffle for Thomson. | | Cartridges for Kids | Thomson School is enrolled in Cartridges for Kids, a program that donates money to the school for used computer printer laser and ink jet cartridges and used cell phones. These items can be dropped off at school in the green rubbermaid box in the entrance way year round. | | Support the North Andover Youth Center | If you would like the opportunity to support the North Andover Youth Center you can also visit www.northandoverkids.com to use an affiliate shopping page where 100% of all commissions earned are donated to the Youth Center. No sign ups are needed... it is just like going to your favorite online store and shopping like normal. This site was developed by a local resident and Thomson parent. Support the Youth Center at no additional cost to you. | | Target | If you use your Target Card or Target Visa (which can be used anywhere) and designate Thomson as your school, Target will donate 1% of your total purchase to our school. If you already have a Target card, all you need to do is go to the website and designate Thomson as your school of choice. |
